🧟Doomline Defense
Aim, reload, upgrade the base, and hold the line through 30 zombie waves.
Doomline Defense is a browser zombie base defense game built around short combat waves and shop breaks. You stand on the left side of the battlefield, shoot zombies coming from the right, and try to keep the base from being destroyed.
The moment-to-moment play is simple but busy: move the mouse to aim, fire with the left button, reload with R, and use grenades when enemies stack near the wall. On touch screens, the game also shows a grenade button for drag-and-release aiming.
Cleared waves and defeated enemies give gold. Between waves, the shop lets you buy weapons, grenades, wall and base upgrades, repair workers, gun mercenaries, mercenary weapons, and mortar support before starting the next wave.
The early waves give you room to learn the rhythm, but later waves punish weak reload timing and one-sided upgrades. Strong weapons help, but the wall, base durability, repairs, and support units decide whether the defense survives long enough.
Controls
Mouse move: Aim your weapon.
Left click: Shoot.
R: Reload.
Right click: Aim and throw a grenade. On touch screens, use the grenade button and drag toward the target.
Wave System
The run has 30 waves. Each wave sends zombies from the right side of the battlefield, and clearing a wave gives a gold reward before the next shop phase.
Boss waves change the pressure. They are slower to clear, hit harder if the defense breaks, and make wall and repair planning more important.
Enemy Types
Zombie: Basic enemy. Appears early and attacks in large numbers.
Elite Zombie: Stronger than normal zombies, with more health and higher damage.
Shield Zombie: Slow but durable. It absorbs shots and keeps pressure on the wall while other enemies close in.
Boss Zombie: High health, heavy damage, and enough staying power to expose weak upgrades.
Weapon System
Pistol: Starting weapon. Balanced, simple, and reliable.
Rifle: Stronger single-shot weapon for controlled damage at range.
Shotgun: Fires multiple pellets and works well when zombies bunch together.
Auto Rifle: Burst-fire weapon with fast damage output.
Gatling: High-speed automatic weapon with a large magazine and strong sustained fire.
Grenades
Grenades damage groups in an explosion radius. They are best saved for clustered enemies, shield pressure, or a boss wave that has reached the wall.
Grenade stock is limited and bought through the shop, so missed throws are expensive.
Base and Wall System
The wall absorbs damage before zombies reach the base. Base core upgrades increase how much punishment the base can take if the wall fails.
Repair workers restore defensive health over time. They are less dramatic than a new gun, but they matter during long waves and boss pressure.
Mercenary System
Gun mercenaries add background firepower. After hiring them, you can spend more gold to improve their weapons.
Mortar mercenaries provide slower explosive support, which is useful when enemies group up away from your current aim.
Shop System
Between waves, spend gold on weapons, grenade stock, wall upgrades, base core upgrades, auto repair workers, gun mercenaries, mercenary weapons, and mortar support.
The shop is where most runs are won or lost. Buying only damage can leave the base fragile; buying only defense can make later enemies take too long to clear.
Strategy Tips
Do not spend every coin on player weapons. Wall, base, and repair upgrades prevent small leaks from becoming a sudden loss.
Reload before a dense group reaches the wall. A badly timed empty magazine is often worse than using a weaker weapon.
Use grenades on clusters instead of single targets. They are limited, and the shop gold spent on them should solve a real wave problem.
Hire mercenaries when your aim is busy with the front line. Mortars help most when the screen starts filling with enemies.
Victory and Defeat
Victory: Survive all 30 waves and keep the base standing.
Defeat: The base is destroyed. The result screen reports your score, reached wave, remaining gold, and base status.
